We often don’t start things we know we should. It’s perverse.<\/p>\n
We think we’re ‘too late’, behind the curve.<\/p>\n
Looking at the success stories around us, we compare our own meagre beginnings with distaste, doubting whether to start at all.<\/p>\n
It’s the sunk cost fallacy of unexpended time and effort. We reason that we’ve put so much time into inaction and indecision that to start now would be a waste.<\/p>\n
Well, imagine yourself in two, five or ten years. Would you rather be stuck where you currently, trapped in quicksand or somewhere else, more beautiful?<\/p>\n
The only obstacle in your way is movement. Stop glancing around you or at the mountain in the distance and look down at your feet.<\/p>\n
